The garden in which I stand
was once a wild garden,
With only thorns and weeds to show.
But then I realized
I had the ability to take control
and make it what I wanted it to be.
So I planted
all that would produce
love, healing, and success.
And slowly,
each year,
with awareness and tending to,
The plantings grow stronger
And nourish me with their fruit.
